How do you say.... in....
We'd love to help you, but because we have to pay our translators, we cannot provide free translations. If you are looking for free automatic translations, check out Google Translate.
Why should I pay for translations when I can get them on the Internet for free?
Automatic translation is good for getting a general idea of what a foreign phrase means, but it never produces a good quality text. Translations undertaken by full-time, properly qualified professionals ensure that the resulting text is perfectly intelligible, elegant and appropriate in style and content. This takes time and skill. If you are looking for free automatic translations, check out Google Translate.
I'm worried about privacy. How can you assure me that my document won't be stolen?
Simple! If you have privacy concerns, we'll sign a legally binding non-disclosure agreement and make our translator(s) sign it too.
I would like to work for you. Where can I send my CV?
We are always looking for qualified translators, especially for unusual language combinations or with competencies in specific fields. Please visit this page to send us all the relevant information.
What kinds of documents can you translate?
We can work with most word processing and graphics/DTP formats, as well as sound and video files and on the source code of HTML, PHP, C++, Visual Basic, Java .properties etc. Just ask! We have both Mac and Windows systems and a wide range of software.
How can I send you the document to be translated?
It's easier for us all if you provide us with the document in electronic form - as an email attachment, ideally in a standard, easy to open and use program such as Microsoft Word. We can also deal with documents received by fax and courier. This might be slower and more expensive, though.
Will my document be formatted for print?
We offer DTP (Desktop Publishing) services in all languages, including those written in non-Roman scripts. Please ask for a quote.
How will you send back the document?
Again, the easiest way is to send it by email. In the case of sworn translations, we send the signed originals via post.
How do I pay?
For smaller sums (under 2,000 GBP/EUR/USD) you can pay online using a secure form and your credit card or Paypal account. For larger sums, it would be better to arrange a bank transfer or cheque.
If you are a corporate customer or plan to assign regular work to us, we are willing to discuss payment schedules and methods.
When do you expect me to pay?
If you are a first time personal customer, we expect you to pay with your order. We will send you a link to a special page from which you can click through to our payment system. This allows us to offer better prices, because we don't need to factor in the risk of non-payment or collection costs. For larger jobs and for orders from established corporations, we usually apply a 30-day credit and we can discuss different payment schedules.
Why do I have to pay before I see the translations? How do I make sure they will be sent?
You are guaranteed by using a credit card to pay for the translation. Should we neglect to fulfill our promise, (which we most certainly will not) you can always ring your credit card company and cancel the transaction. This system guarantees everyone’s security.
What if I am unhappy with your translation?
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with our translation, we will work on it until it earns your satisfaction. If you are still not satisfied, we will give you a 100% refund.
